Hey Merih, thanks for the lovely words:) Still planning to come over this way? I'm sure Fretwell will be gigging here soon, and I'd love to take you to his one of shows! I miss our chats. Hope you're well xxx
Hey Tonie! I indeed want to make it to there this year. Maybe in the summer. It is all up to my working schedule in the summer. Currently I barely have time even for sleeping but hoping it will get better by summer. We have lots to talk!
Andy and Sue got me all excited on Glasto by telling me what I have been missing all these years. :-) So, dunno about Glasto but it is a must to come over and catch up with you guys ASAP!!! Hey at least I got a job now, right? :-)
About Miss Kiwi's post, I think adressing Iraida's question; she meant there must be some peeps who have seen Fretwell live as he supported Travis in 2005.

Haha, yes, Miss Super decipherer is right... I was in a bit of a hurry when I wrote that, and really didn't make any sense. |

Ahhh, all makes sense now, thanks both of you.
Merih, glad to hear you're working and hope it won't be long before we see each other again.
Meanwhile, will post news of any Fretwell gigs here in this thread as and when I get to hear of them. |

Oh yeah! Malcolm! So looking forward to this. Trying to manage not to work that night. Other than that nothing can put me away from seeing him. Can't wait!
Have you seen him live before? |

So what's this new job? It sounds pretty hardcore if you're having to plan not working at night in advance!! Is it shift work?? Ahhh he's sooo good live, unfortunately I only know this from youtube... I still haven't seen him live. |

You haven't? Wahey. That means I am gonna score so bad, in case I get to see him on the 25th. tee hee
It is not exactly shift work actually. Just busy. I am working at a media company, making a TV show. (Can you believe how long it has been and we haven't been in touch!!!) Long hours for editing keep me working until late night. Especially Wednesdays are even busier. And Malcolm is playing on a Wed night. But hopefully I shall be there. Fingers tightly crossed. And then I will be the most annoying person on earth showing off to you, telling how awesome the gig was... :-P |

I'm reading your message, but all I can see is 'meh meh meh meh meh meh meh' ie: Jealous.
You are?! Really? Living the dream! I didn't know that, how cool.. apart from the late nights... but there's worse jobs people have to work late for I'd imagine... a lot worse... so can we see any of your handiwork?
I know! It's been ageesssssss it's weird when you're not around! Every few months i check out deals to Turkey (it's my secret plan for when I want to run away) and wonder how you are. One day I will come! And we will go to Gelibolu. Dammit. haha.
Well.. you just do that then! And hopefully I can counter with a bit of Elbow! (they're coming here in 3 weeks, but my pay is being funny so I don't have tickets yet). |

Ha! Don't get jealous that easy. Not the exact dream yet. Getting there slowly slowly slowly... :-)
I don't if you can see Turkish TV channels but on internet it must be possible. The link on my profile is for the show actually. There are few samples. Skip the announcements though. They are all in Turkish. :-P Clips on the other hand are mostly in English.
Oh I miss Gelibolu! Sooo much! |

It's a big step towards the dream though!!
Cool, I'm going to check those out.
When were you last there?? I really wanted to go this year, because I have lots of free time and a job... but my lecturer scheduled my ONE test for the whole year on the week of ANZAC day, and won't tell us which exact date until it's too late... why can't anything ever work out?!?! |
