Right, that's exactly what i'm looking for... only i wouldn't know how to ask for it in Dutch. :-(

just go to an art shop and ask for Conte crayons !

I once tried going to the local art shop and getting some but all the boxes of stuff are in Dutch (which i can't read well) and i know for sure there wasn't any "conte crayon" and the women in that store are always kind of older and they barely speak English. I suppose i'll have to give it another try.

if there's an art school where you live, try to meet a couple of students and ask them about it. Conte crayons are famous !

Yeah, that's a good idea. I barely know any Dutch people yet, but i know my boyfriend's friend's parents are artists, i can ask them. :)

Actually 'conte' isn't the brand name, it's just named after a guy who made it. I was looking on Amazon and Cretacolor makes some, and i think Prisma makes some... but i'd rather not have to pay shipping

Oh, I always thought it was ... :s
