There was an episode of QI where they mentioned that Rimsky-Korsakov used to see colours when he heard music, seemingly he used to shout at the orchestra "More Blue!!", he also believed whe he was younger that the lights in the theatre went down during a performance to allow you to see the colours better. I believe it's called Synesthesia |
