Colder - that song is mega, has everything and is underappreciated.
Writing To Reach You - just gorgeous
U/16 Girls - colossal song with an all too relevant message.... |

'Re-Offender' - the lyrics are so clever and meaningful such a powerful subject to write about aswell.
'Writing To Reach You' - I love the way Fran incorporated the Wonderwall chords and even gave a nod to Oasis in the lyrics, was genius! Andy's guitar work is fantastic aswell. The feeling of that recording I wish I could be able to recreate!
'Something Anything' - one of their most rocking, to the point songs and it's got so much energy aswell
'Love Will Come Through' - to be able to write such an amazing love song without sounding cheesy is very hard and Fran pulled it off. I wish I could write a song half this good, filled with so much emotion and meaning!
'Luv' - words can't describe it's awesomeness! |

Ooh, that's a toughie. The whole 'a million miners work upon' bit in Out In Space is brilliant though.

Very hard to choose but with these 5 ones I'd already be very happy!
Driftwood: music and lyrics are just perfect. I love the flow of the lyrics: some songs seem to take you by the hand as soon as they begin and then don't leave you til the last second (d'you know what I mean?) and Driftwood is definitely one of them for me.
3 Times and You Lose: I fell in love with this song the very first time I listened to it. I love its atmosphere, its aura. It's very special to me.
The Humpty Dumpty Love Song: one of the loveliest love song
Closer: magical song...
Song to Self because this is a f****** great song! |

Yes! I know I'll think of something else the moment I post this, but that is at least one of my favorite lines in any Travis song, and the lines before it:
We're just words
In the sand
At high tide

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM=)
maybe SOMEWHERE ELSE the most.
wish it was me who wrote
And this'll turn into something else, something else
But when it does, I'll be
somewhere else,somewhere else
Where else?
It's so simple but so pure and vivid! |
