I refuse to wish you a happy birthday until it is your birthday.
However I will begrudgingly wish you simply a 'happy day'. ;P |

Happy Birthday to my favourite canadian! I was going to give you Noel as a present but that Sarah McDonald is so selfish and she doesn't want to share him. So this is for you:
Here, Noel is saying Happy Birthday, I promise.
hippos cakes:
omg..is that a noel cake? That is hilarious!
Thanks for trying to get me Noel though. Much appreciated!

Here was my gift: "no one scheduled bartenders for tonight or this weekends shows! Please get the list and call everyone!"
AKKK. So apperently that department didnt do their job and I now am.
Found a few so far...hopefully more to come.
Oh, and i will probably get a card later. But from the staff, not the volunteers, if those are the "old people" in question.

luckily there is booze, just no one to serve it! Well, im up to atleast 3 and 4 for each show, but we need 5.
It was ridiculous. I didnt even know how many people we have on per night, etc. I know nothing about the running of the bar. One of the bartenders asked me if "a b2 was scheduled for tonight?" and i was about to ask if she meant a b2 vitamin. BAH! Apperently it mean a 2nd person on the balcony bar.
Okay, I will stop complaining in my birthday thread now because it is full of niceness and bunnies and yumminess and Noel. bye!
oh, and I think 95% here are over the age of 30, so i guess everyone is old.
ps-hahaha, all is right with the world again. I just came across the name of a subscriber here named Mr. Pickles. It doesnt take much to make me laugh. |

Un petit peu (which you are soon going to be able to tell).
Je suis Canadien, et vous devez etude francais pour 6 annee dans l'ecole.
Did that make any sense? I can kinda manage mumbling through stuff verbally, but I'm horrible at trying to write it out. |

ha! no.
You have to take french in school for a certain amount of year (depending on where you are, etc it varies). For me it was from grade 4-9 and then it is optional after that. Quebec is a mostly French speaking province, although it's largest city, Montreal also has a large English population, English university, etc. New Brunswich also has a large French pop and there are French pockets throughout the country.
A quick search tells me that 17.7% of Canadians are E/F bilingual.
I went to university at an officially bilingual school in an officially bilingual city, and sadly my french didnt improve. |
