I do not believe in ghosts, however if it makes people happy then work away, I used to have a mate who didn't believe in ghosts but believed that lost ones left "footprints" instead, I'm again not too sure about this but the human mind is a wonderful thing that has never fully been explained, I reckon it is your mind "playing tricks" on you but these can also be interpretated as honest "sightings" and personally if it works for ya, good luck.
