A perfect example of what I mean. Your statement implies that:
1. Mavericks are better than loyal party members.
2. No Bushite can be a decent person.

Bush /Cheney and their cabal have done so well for people right ? In their doctrine , McCain only disagreed on the use of torture , he was loyal otherwise even after they fucked him over in his earlier attempts to be the G O P front runner .

Playing the devils advocate on their record is kinda pointless but it's a free country so feel free .

Again, I'm not saying that I agree with his policies. I'm saying that using that sort of language undermines the democrats' arguments. It's the sort of language some Republicans use. I just can't understand why taking a calm stance, showing point by point why the policy you propose is always dropped in favour of the good old:
"Republicans are war criminals."
"Democrats are Christian-hating scum!"

It's like Britain in the 17th Century, for Heaven's sake! Treat the electorate as simpletons and they'll vote as simpletons.

Yaaaaaay!!!

I think my drinking last night caused me to oversleep this morning. My shift started at 11 and I was woken up at 11:15 by a phonecall from my boss... I don't think I've ever moved so quickly in my life.

Fair play to ya! Apologies; I'll stick to drinks. Just finished the last of yesterday's cider and I'm now about to start the second G&T. Alas! No Guinness in the flat. :-(
