I knew the differences in meaning ;) What I wanted to say is that when I listen to songs that are not in Spanish I can't picture what the singer says. Understand? It matters if I read the lyrics but not if I just listen to the song :p That's why I said that for me those words are the same :) |

The lyric felt too laboured when sung so I changed it. AND I think "picked" is better as for me it is a more feminine thing to do to a guy than press his shirt. |

I'm sure J. Smith's girlfriend both picked and pressed the shirt, whether it made it into the song or not. She probably had to wash it, too. And hang it up for him when she was done! |

I just finished, two hours while watching tv. The hubby usually does some ironing on Saturday mornings, so it's not all down to me. |

man, i never iron. If things are wrinkly i wet them and throw them in the drier for a few minutes. Or just wet it and lay it/hang it out.

We don't have a drier, they're not that common here.
What do you do with shirts, or don't you wear them? |

i do tend to wear shirts. For the sake of modesty and all.
I dont really own many shirts that require ironing. And those that do get the same wet drier/hang out treatment. |

"Friends" is sung from a woman's perspective. See Fran's blog of Jan. 5, 2008:
"Wrote a new song today called "Friends". Written from girl to boy who treats her like shit." |
