Yesterday was such an exciting day for hockey fans!! Watching the highlights on NHL On The Fly last night was awesome! So many games!!! :D
Kristy, I know what you mean!!! Seems like every game this season for the Wings has been a nail-biter, although we come out on top most nights. Last night's game with the Blackhawks was a wild one!! It was 5-5 and went to a shootout. EEK! I both love and hate shootouts at the same time. Both Datsyuk and Hossa scored to give us the win! WOOT! Hossa's goal was so satisfying...he was just like "I'm ending this!!" and did a slap shot, LOL! It was awesome.
Here's the shootout on youtube
On a side note, is it just me, or has there been a TON of fights so far this season?? The Wings haven't been in a fight yet, but it seems like every time I watch highlights from around the league, every game has at least one fight. |

Be afraid, Americans. I will be in your land tonight. For about 4 hours. And really, only 2 exits over the boarder. I think you will alright. |

You can just seal off the Peace Bridge if you want. That's my route.

no offence to the lovely Motor City She-Devils, but...over my dead body!
Lets arrange some sort of World Travis Hockey Champtionship. Maybe it will be road hockey so we can get people that cant skate. |

Just got back from Buffalo! Sens won 5-2! YYYYYAAAAAYYY!
It's so much better to walk through Buffalo in your Sens jersey once they have just won.
signs you are a canadian in buffalo:
-little children stare at you due to your jersey
-someone bumps into you. You say sorry. they keep walking
-someone butts infront of you in line. you passive aggressively stand there and say nothing
-you walk 3 floors of the arena to find a Tim Hortons and then find fellow canadians have dont the same thing (you usually have to walk 3 feet for a tim hortons here) |
