The other day it was Song To Self (apt?) but yesterday and today, it's been the chorus of Last Words, even though i don't know all the words yet |

'When you fall
You know I will
I love you
I love you
I love you' (Before You Were Young)
'Cause I like you
And I’d like to
Be free, be free, be free, be free' (Quite Free) |

Long Way Down... the whole of it is stuck in my head!
And the "It's knife in your back, it's the heart attack, it's the way you look back before you step out" de Chinese Blues...

Yesterday it was "Get Up" stuck in my head.
Especially in the morning
"You've got to get up
you've got to get up
you've got to get up
I don't want to get up
You've got to get up
you've got to get up
you've got to wake up to the situation!"
and then all day long %)
And today it is Something anything :) |

'And the children were sleeping
And the women were weeping
There was nobody keeping him here' (Chinese Blues)
And 'Last Words' is a really good one, too.I think it's the most travis-y song in the album. |

Ha Ha, today its Long Way Down! Above the two tone town...
Mama...Papa.
Ooh and i love:-
A million lonely people with their head in the sand
Trying to make some sense of what they don't understand
Waiting on somebody just to give them a hand.
From Chinese Blues...Lovely
I wonder if the song that sticks our head the most should be released as a single? |

Quite Free. Quite stuck in my head.
Quite a depressing lyric I feel.
Seems to be a tale of hopelessness and wanting to be free. |

Because Im still waiting for my lovely imported cd to arrive, im trying to hold back on repeatedly listening to that streaming audio, but i have listened to Before You Were Young a lot and it's been in my head a lot. And then i start singing it to myself and people question my sanity.
it isnt the first time. |

Definately them all!! lol - Love - Friends and Song to Self just keeps going in my head can't get the dulcet tones of Fran out of my mind!!!! ------ NOT that I mind one bit!!! ;o)
The lyrics from Friends :-
Who cheers you up
When you are down
Who brings you cups of coffee
Who picks you up
When you're in town
Whatever makes you happy
And I'm glad you're better now
But I'm sad you're not around
Friends
Will never desert you
Or turn against
Friends
Won't love you and leave you
To mend the fence
Guys if your near Perth passing by pop in for a cuppa or a heavy! Xx PS.... I need my fence mending... you may sing while your fixing it:P Xx |
