Yes you said they were strapped down but then you said something about another pair that brought the ridiculous and illogical mental picture about on my part.
I didn't know hockey shoulder pads were basically the top part of a suit of armor. |

the ones that i said were ridiculous are ones they brought out a few years ago specifically for girls that had cups built into them.
They still make specifically girl shoulder pads, but they are less stupid, just a slightly different shape.
they also apperently make girls hockey pants with smaller waists and more hip room.
Oh, that reminds me of some story i remember reading a while back. Dont remember where i read this. Might have been a James Duthie article actually. It questioned whether jeans in Canada were cut specifically to fit hockey players thighs and butts because jeans in other countries didnt fit him properly and he was sure this was a real thing. |

ANNE! nice avatar. Yes see, that is what shoulder pads look like! not random 80s clothing shoulder pads that you need to tape on to yourself. |

Well I knew they weren't fabric but size wise, yes I was picturing hard plastic pads that go just on your shoulders.
(hence, the name)
So when she was talking about them covering her chest I was very confused and my simple mind was picturing her duct taping an extra pair over her milkbags.
Clearly I am completely ignorant on this matter. |

Sorry. Let's refer to them as your Canadian symbols of peace and love.
(peace is on the left and love is on the right) |

cheerleaders in hockey are a disgrace.
Look at their stupid socks.
Annie! This is my friends facebook status: is in Sugar Land where homes with Christmas lights look like gingerbread houses!
And then someone asked where it was and she commented that it was just outside of Houston
Isnt that where you parents are from, or something? I remember that being discussed on here before. |
