Now I'm confused. All these years REM has been telling us it IS the end of the world. Skeeter Davis says it's the end of the world. That's 2 against 1.

The best version of Summertime that I've ever heard, by the great Sam Cooke. |

Hadn't been paying attention to this thread for a while so was pleased to see the Toots and the Maytals. And Rics reply with Jimmy Cliff. To be honest there is not a bad track on the whole "Harder They Come" Album...
1. You Can Get It If You Really Want - Jimmy Cliff
2. Draw Your Breaks (Stop that Train) - Scotty
3. The Rivers of Babylon - The Melodians
4. Many Rivers to Cross - Jimmy Cliff
5. Sweet and Dandy - The Maytals
6. The Harder They Come - J.C. (let's just call him JC no one will get confused)
7. Johnny Too Bad - The Slickers
8. 007 (Shanty Town) - Desmond Dekker
9. Pressure Drop - The Toots and the Maytals
10. Sitting in Limbo - JC
11. I Can See Clearly Now - JC
And pretty much the whole album is slow dance music, Jimmy Cliff is a legend his voice is amazing. This is also a good Sunday hangover album.
