I visited moscow and st. petersburg in april '07 as part of my russian study and this is (obviously lol) a russian shop! Not sure who the lady is i'm afraid :)
Slightly less colourful, here's a picture I took on our Geology expedition to Iceland. Walking along the edge of a glacier :)
And here's a picture from my most recent visit to Berlin - this is the Jewish Museum inside the Libeskind building where the architecture reflects the persecution suffered by the Jewish community throughout history.

Robyn--question about the shop. How can you take a piece of fruit without all the other fruit falling on your head? I've never seen such a vertical fruit stand before! Maybe that's where the term fruit "stand" comes from!! |

LOL the fruit's behind the shop window! There's glass there :) but it does look as though they're balancing. Blimey, it would be a-m-a-z-i-n-g if they actually were! haha xx
