When I'm happy I listen to the boss so here's one of my happy tunes:

Day 23 - Wedding song
I'd never really thought about that (after all, I'm planning on becoming a rich SPINSTER!! ;P), so I had to give it some thought today, and now I can't decide between two songs - I want them both to be played at my wedding, should that event ever take place.
Martha & The Vandellas – Dancing in the Street, but in the Jagger/ Bowie version (dance included).
Why? Because a wedding should be FUN.
And the second one would be:
Bright Eyes – First Day of My Life – I want someone to sing this at my wedding. Or at any other wedding I'm attending, because it's just such a lovely love song. |

Live Forever - Oasis
When I saw this vid on MTV in 1994 I thought, "Great song! But I'm afraid I'll never hear them again". Since that day I love Oasis.
Day 23: a song you listen to when you're sad
I have a special folder with sad songs on my computer, and it was difficult to choose one of them. This is one of my most favourite songs by The Cure. It's so tragic and almost painfully beautiful.
A Night Like This - The Cure
Day 24: A song that you want to play at your wedding.
I never thought of it and I'm not sure if I will ever get married but probably it could be this.

Sunshine On Leith - The Proclaimers
Because everytime I'm feeling down this song lifts me, I must give a wee mention to Gladders as he showed me the vid of Hibs winning the League Cup and the fans belting this out, Hibs are traditionally a Leith team. It is corny and it is "tartan" but it's also fucking brilliant.

A mate of mine who isn't at all into the whole wedding tradition thing was at his own reception, upstairs in a pokey wee Dublin pub, his mate was DJ-ing as a favour, this is what he played, I think it's extremeley apt.

I'm a very lucky man in terms of friends, they have been extremely good to me and without being morbid if I get hit by a bus tha morra then I've had a guid life...
