I have no idea if they were a Cincinnati phenomenon only or what, but these songs are ingrained into my brain. haha. :)

Um yeah. His voice totally sounds like the mom's in Mary Poppins when she's singing about the Women's Suffrage movement.
"Our daughter's daughters will adore us and will sing in joyful chorus..." |

Hehe, I haven't seen Marry Poppins in a while! I don't mind an occasional nasally vocal, but that dude was beyond...comprehension!
I was washing my ears out with some Afghan Whigs. ;) |

So since we're talking about current songs we're not liking right now, I want to throw this one in. It's too cutesy to be good. And her voice... as Dak would say, Blergh!
I know you don't like Katy Perry Dak, but I'm really loving her cover of Electric Feel by MGMT. It's actually pretty good. And I absolutely hate I Kissed a Girl but somehow she pulled of a good performance at Live... at Later with Jools Holland. I was like... wow that was acutally kind of good. |

Meh. Still not a fan. ;) Maybe I'll like her more in a couple years, like everything else.
G'night, Mer! :D
As for that other song, I'd never heard it before. I guess I've been hiding under my rock again! |
