dressing as a land girl for school tomorrow.
also one of my fave comedians just used a really crap pic i took of him on my mobile as his profile pic on facebook...mixture of pride with shame spirals...really need to find my camera charger so i can do myself proud with things like that. |

I'm going to be up for about the next 26 hours. Im participating in Relay For Life tonight, a 12 hour overnight relay walkathon to raise money for cancer research.

I am supposedly closing on a house at lunch today. I say supposedly because too often these things get pushed back because the title company forgot to do something.
It's very exciting but also a little anti-climatic because the seller is leasing the place back from us until the end of the month so it won't really feel like "ours" until it's empty, you know?
It's a really really gorgeous house. I'm very happy! |

It's a few minutes north of where we live right now. New school for the kids but otherwise not too different. Obviously they'll finish out the year at their current school. Sorry this is small but it's the best I can do. More pics when we're in there in a few weeks!

Yes we closed today but we're not moving for a few weeks. The seller has leased it back from us until the end of the month and then we're getting the floors on the first floor redone. So we'll probably move the second weekend in April.
It's about 30 minutes from Fran's. |

The kids are staying with my mom for a few days. Based on my mom's Facebook status (see below), it might be time for "the fat talk."
My grand kids give me such joy. Catherine saw some old pictures of me and told me I didn't used to be fat. She said she loves me even though I'm fat because being fat doesn't matter. Good to know.
As in, don't tell people they're fat, even if you cushion it with a "it doesn't matter." |
