Im now having a debate on FB with Laura (moominbadger) because she posted a pic of a pancake. English people, those arent pancakes! That is a crepe! pancakes are fluffy and light and more than 2mm thick!

I like the comment:
Safe to say if Jesus was scoffing those pancakes in his day, they would have had to reinforce the cross to accommodate for his paunch.
less than an hour till I can leave. Goal, pancakes in mouth by 6pm. |

I have no idea whether Jesus liked eating and what he favored but i'm sure he would have liked to try one of your pancakes ! |

Cos flour, eggs etc were luxurious (sp?) back in the days. So one used all that stuff up before fasting. (methinks) I think I'll give up sex, drugs n rock n' roll. Yeh I'll really be missing out on much...... |

I didn't get time to eat today, and now it's Ash Wednesday, so i can't. Why do i have to be Catholic? All this guilt is getting to me.
On the plus side, I got invited to a ball today! |

Thank you very much, guys!! You're all very kind. :o)
Ohh, it was pancake day! It's my third pancake day on the board. I know because I learned here that such thing existed. Brilliant. I'm going to ask my mum if we can have pancakes (which, for me, are like Laura's). My mum doesn't know the tradition, so I can tell her it's pancake Wednesday. She doesn't need to know all the facts. |
