I went on a preschool field trip and saw how pizza is made. Each kid got to knead the dough (after a thorough hand washing, of course) and got to see the whole process from start to finished pizza. Yum!

I have auditions tonight for the small group numbers for my upcoming choir show. I believe there are 24 numbers being auditioned and they'll choose 8-10. I really hope at least one I'm in gets chosen. Either way I'll be relieved when it's over.

It's okay. We don't get yours either.

I just tried to make a last minute chop off my hair and dye it some colour other than my own appointment, but they are booked soild for a week. That gives me too much time to talk myself out of it. Guess Im stuck being me. That's balls.
I dont even know that I actually want to colour my hair. I just need a change and that seemed the easy solution.

What exactly did they put on the dessert pizza? I'm intrigued!

I was a little worried, but they were mainly pie-ish type things baked in pizza pans. Some type of apple something, another that was a pineapple something, and then a chocolaty s'mores dessert. The only thing pizza-y about them was that they were baked in pizza pans.

I've seen the ones you're talking about. A pizza place near me has a chocolate chip cookie one that is awesome. The crust is pastry-ish and then they put chocolate cookie dough (minus the chips) in the middle and then sprinkle the chips on top. (don't ask me why, I don't know)

I do know it's delish and there is a mad dash when they put it out on the buffet.

Aah I see. I was imagining all sorts of things when I read dessert pizza !!!! For one of my boys' birthdays, I took the kids to an Italian restaurant where they showed them how to make pasta and the children were able to get their hands in the dough. They took their homemade pasta back home with them to ccok for dinner - they had great fun that day.

Far be it from me to contradict a specialized doctor with years of medical training. But if a kid has been crying for 2 days that his ear hurts, has barely eaten, and fell asleep last night at 6:30PM and slept until morning...I'm thinking ear infection, but the doctor said no. Hmmmm.

On the bright side, I have a new dryer! $160 at the Sears Scratch & Dent store. You can't beat that with a stick. AAAAANnnnnnd, it has a light inside. The dent is on the side where the washing machine is, so you can't even see it. Sweet deal!

Kayte props about your dryer deal!!! So sad about the ear news. Maybe it's a pressure thing (or allergies) that is making for sensitive ears?

My auditions went well last night. One song got in and one didn't. The one I wanted more to get in did so that is great.
