We were driving from George to Cincinnati the year that Jewel song came out...and we were counting how many times we heard it on the radio on the way. We kept changing the channel to see if we could increase the number of times we heard it. I don't remember the exact number, but it was a lot. And we would sing it at the top of our lungs every time. :D

PS...I don't think you should feel bad for liking these bands. I don't think they sound even remotely like Nickelback. Maybe I'm blinkered because I like them, but I don't think so. ;)

That BTE song was fun to sing along to. Jewel so so over hyped. Oh she lived in a van! Oh she's from Alaska! Oh she can yodel! I remember she came out with a book of poetry. UGH!

This song is waaaaayyy better then that Tracy Chapman one. I remember we had a little dance that went along with, "You Gotta Be." Such a mellow mellow grove.
