Maybe this is a regional term, since Ric asked as well. It's any bush with big thorns on it that reaches out and grabs you. Evil things. We always just called them "picker bushes." Similar to "picker weeds," which look just like dandelion leaves, but they have gazillions of needles to stick into children's bare feet. Summer fun! |
