sucks.
how's the weed policy over there?
It's illegal in Switzerland - although as long as you don't have a whole backyard full of it growing there..noboday reaaaaaaaaally cares.
2 years ago they even talked about legalising it. Guess it didn't come to that after all.
What did your buddy do then? Smoke in fron of the police station or was he carrying a kilo of that stuff with him?
What kind of sentence is awaiting him? |

Talking about smoking pot in public reminds me of a work related story.
One of my contact at Ralph Lauren in New York was once caught smoking weed in the street. He had to pay a fine then go to a law court on a certain day.
It happened that is was THE day Ralph Lauren himself was coming to his office for a meeting.
My friend couldn't attend the meeting and told everyone at work that his grand-uncle had died. |

I STILL need a costume for that bloody theme party in a few weeks ("movie characters/show stars")... I threw away all the old clothes we once had, so we don't have ANY costume-like thing at home. I have short black hair, but no fringe, so "mia wallace" is not an option. sigh. |

*RANT*
I had a bad day yesterday. I went to bed hoping that today would be better. And what did I get? A far worse day!! Yay!
I've slept 3 hours. I wouldn't mind it and it would have been just a part of my lousy Wednesday if it hadn't been for the fact that I kept dreaming that my alarm clock was buzzing and that I was late for this place I had to go to in the morning. I woke up startled at least three times in three hours.
Then when I was about to arrive to this place to do a medical check-up for my job, I remembered I forgot the papers I needed to hand in.
They were very nice about it and told me that I could do the first part of the check-up and since I had to come back at 2 pm for the electrocardiogram, I could bring the papers then. This meant calling work, apologizing for my stupidity and telling them I would arrive god knew when.
I left and the subway wasn't working because of some strike. Nice. I took a crowded bus home... or what I thought was home. Because I'm so incredibly stupid that I took the wrong bus. Of course at this point it all became too much for me to handle so I started crying because I couldn't believe I'm this stupid. I managed to get the right bus home (what would have been a 30 minute thing became an 80 minutes long journey, because Buenos Aires is hell when there's a subway strike), grabbed the papers and left again. I didn't have time to have lunch because it was too late and didn't have any time now. And the bus changed its route because some people were also on strike and were blocking an avenue. So I had to get off the bus and walk like 10 extra blocks to get to the electrocardiogram place.
And now I'm at work and I feel my head is about to explode. I'm longing for my bed, but I can't have that either because we're having our room painted.
The only good thing so far is that the electrocardiogram went well. I had a psychological test too. I wonder how that turned out, pf!
Can this day PLEASE be over!?!?!?!?!?!
Dammnnnn you Tom Hanks!!!!!!!!!!
Edit: The trolley just skipped my office!!! WTF????? |

Aww, thank you girls!!! *Hugs*
It really was a terrible day. When I left work the traffic and the amount of people on the streets due to the subway strike was so huge that it took me literally three hours to get home. Literally. I left at 6 pm and arrived home at 9. I really don't know why all this happened to me yesterday!
Today is much better than yesterday... which is not that hard really, but I'm very relieved yesterday's over :oP.
Good luck shopping, Lilly!! :o) |

See, and tomorrow is going to be even BETTER! :)
Didn't buy anything, but now I have a L-O-N-G list of things that would be great as a Santa pressie. I'm doomed. |
