Today the list of players who will play for Argentina at the World Cup has been made public.
Maradona left Dátolo out. What the HELL was he thinking???
I'm glad Palermo and Tévez are in, though. I love them and I'll support them forever and ever. They have enough passion and soul to counteract Messi's lack of it. I'm not expecting much of Argentina for this World Cup anyway, but a World Cup is a World Cup. :oP
And I'm hoping the team's performance will be at least more enjoyable to watch than most of the games Boca played this last season, which were painfully pitiful. I need at least a small amount of football joy this year. |

I don't like Blackpool as we played them in a "friendly" about 12 years ago, they kicked the shit out of our players, a real hard, dirty team (think Leeds circa 1970's).
That said, I was delighted for Holloway, you can see how much it meant for him and how much he genuinely cares for the area, the revenue that being in the premiership will bring to Blackpool (their average attendance is only 8,000). Dobbie does deserve a mention as does Charlie Adam, we would not be in the SPL were it not for Charlie Adam, we had him on loan from Rangers 5 years ago when we gained promotion, I thought he was a bit special even then, I really wanted Saints to do everything in their power to keep him at Love St. but his heart was set on returning to the huns. He went back but never realy made it so he was sold to Blackpool for half a million. GIRFUY Rangers !!!

Just a pity about the arseholes commentating the whole way through the game "Who would have expected to see these two teams in the final ??". FFS get fucking over it, United, Chelsea (and Barca to an extent) simply weren't good enough. I found it hugely disrespectful that these wankers instead of giving mention to the teams that had made it to the final (one of whom have now a treble) spent the whole fucking pre-match and match flapping their fucking gums about who wasn't there.
