Well, I got tickets for this show for my fiance' my best friend and his fiance' back in January when we first heard the Great news. My fiance' Michelle moves in with me that may. anyways, I took my vacation the week of the 20th so i wouldnt miss the concert. Well it worked out for me, but Michelle had to work. The good news was she was supposed to get out of work at 3:30pm but ended up having to go to a meeting for her work 20 min up the road till five. We were already 2hrs north of Atlanta, so that mad it that much more frustrating. Finally. I pick her up at 5:15pm. We rush straight to the show and end up making it there at 6:45pm. So I get my Travis Concert shirt (which is pretty cool) and we take our seats. The first act, which i forget her name, was pretty cool! Andy even comes out and plays guitar on one of her songs. Then Travis comes out! Man was that a rush! lol, anyways they started out with Sing. To be honest, being 3 years after the show takes place I cant remember the set list completely. The cool thing was Fran remarked on our "Accents!' "Its like Singing" - Fran Everyone got a kick out of it "Yall" - Fran. Anyways, they sounded amazing! The songs i remember were Sing, Writing to Reach you, Why does it always rain on me, Last Train, Side, Flowers in the Window, Slide Show, Blue Flashing Light, Pipe Dreams, Driftwood, Turn, and I beleive Follow the Light. It was a short set, but then again they were supporting Dido, which by the way did an amazing job herself! Too bad we could only stay for Travis. I think i was the biggest fan at that show. There were a couple of guys there that were into Travis like us but thats all I could tell. lol. It was an amazing show!

Eleven months after I last saw Travis in UK, I was happy to know they were coming back to Atlanta.

They were supporting Dido on this tour.

I got to the venue way early and heard the soundtrack. It was wonderful. I knew I was getting a great 45-min set!

Emiliana Torrini was awesome. (I would later meet her in New Jersey.) Andy came out and played guitar for her. It was pretty cool.

The wait between Emiliana and Travis felt like five years.

I dont really remember the set since it was more than three years ago. But I think Bones was got it down right.

Needless to say the set was awesome. I was about fifth row in the middle. That seat was perfect!
I looked around and didnt see too many Travis fans. But I gotta mention these guys a few rows behind me. They were way excited during the set. Made myself look so calm. HAHA

The boys closed the set with Blue Flashing Light. After that, I left my seat and waited around by the backstage door. Some people waiting with me peeked inside and saw Franny and Dougie were obviously behind that fence. They didnt come out. (or they did after I left?) I didnt feel like waiting cos I was gonna see them again the next day with a much smaller crowd anyways. So I decided to head home and called it a night.

That night, I went to bed early and slept very well. Looked forward to the show the next day.
