This was my first proper Travis concert and was a warm up gig for the tour starting in glasgow the next night.
The Man Who had just been released but I didn't have it yet and in the bar before the gig I overheard a bunch of lads discussing it as 'leftover Oasis b-sides', daft idiots!
After watching Man U winning the champion league by a couple of last minute flukey goals we walked up to the venue with our hip flasks of vodka (skint at the time!)
I can't remember that much of the gig as it was so long ago, but stand out tracks were Turn, WTRY, More than us and Happy.
There were only about 200 people in and i think most of those were family and friends of the band (lots of scottish accents)
My wife managed to get Frans towel he was using during the gig as a memento.
After the gig we stumbled upon Andy having a tab out the back and he took the towel into the dressing room and got the rest of the lads to sign it, so cool!
And that was it, I was hooked to Travis from then on.
