As a huge James fan [and also a Travis fan] who has just stumbled upon this board, I can tell you all that you are in for a treat seeing James live now. They're back to the original line up from the Gold Mother / Seven albums and are moving from strength to strength since re-forming.
For those of you who are the Americans fans posting above, I recommend you check out how 'Sometimes' is now performed live. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XRWFeXP8rQ I just hope you all get to experience the same when the band tour the US. |

Welcome to the board Mullin! Thanks for posting the link...Sometimes is my all time favorite James song. I can hardly wait! I didn't think I'd ever get to see them play live. Did you attend that show, or any others? What was the setlist like? |

Actually that is my video from that gig at Liverpool, many more videos [mostly live] on there of the band since re-forming. I only got into them after they split :(
I did 2 of the dates on the tour - it was mostly promotion for the new album, Hey Ma [Which is amazing by the way]. Liverpool and Blackpool I attended, as well as the Hoxton gig in March for the pre-tour warm-up.
Setlists for the 2008 tours can be found on the main James fan site, they have already done a US show in LA this year [setlist is also on there]

The message board http://oneofthethree.proboards21.com/ also has many fans talking about the US dates. I just wish I had the money to afford the US tour :( |

Unfortunately the US tour, which I'm doing the CA dates for, clash with the Travis UK tour. But flights are booked and my loyalties lie with James ;)
Feel free to join in the debates on my site - link above - and I'll be looking for people to provide setlists / reviews for the US shows I'm not going to.
AND BUY HEY MA! Also, the Getting Away with it DVD has been released in the UK as a low-price reissue with a CD of the show for around £6. |
