I think I mentioned this in another thread before, but my family are supporting at least four diffrerent teams, none of which are anything to do with our nationalities (Finland and England are not in):
Me: Switzerland - have their footy shirt and love the country
Hubby: Italy – has a shirt, loves the country (me too), also roots for Holland
Son: Spain - don't really know why, I suppose he likes Real Madrid
Daughter: Portugal – did a presentation on the country for school, quite likes Cristiano Ronaldo of ManU and Portugal

Not a bad idea! Just tried today some sicilian dish the hubby saw on BBC Food.
