It looks really cute! As soon as I get a chance, I will get it from the library. And judging by the cover of the book, your hair is perfect.

Whoops. I didn't mean the cavewomen thing to be offensive if you took it that way. Because a cavewomen would be a cool costume too! The book looks real cute.

The argument for keeping it is that it distributed the vote equally among states. The most heavily populated states have a higher number of electoral votes. But I still think it's crap and none of that should matter. If I live in an area with a bunch of idiots, why should their vote override mine? Nobody's vote should ever be "thrown out" like that. It's not fair! The Electoral College is crap and needs to go.

Ditto! I'm in the same boat as Anne.

Hm..my post will be on topic yet strangely off topic (judging from where this thread has gone haha..)

But I just wanted to shout out my love for Obama!!!

I can proudly say that I voted for him today. And also that I voted NO against props 4 and 8!

what does that mean? girls under the age of majority have to have parental consent? or parents have to be notified? Something like that?

Was prop 8 officially a yes? Does that overturn those who were married when it was legal? or just mean no one else can marry?

For prop 4 , third time they've attempted it , a NO means minors do not have to notify their parents or go through a waitting period .

On 8 I'm not sure if those weddings will be overturned
