Fran told that Smith (and especially J. Smith) is the most common name in phone-books in Great Britain, there are millions of them. they dedicate it to millions. that's why they call it Ode to J. Smith.

yesterday was a day to remember. it was their first in Istanbul, and was a big surprise for them; they'd never known that we love them that much and we'd sing the songs all by heart.
