I would just like to take a minute to rant about crutches.
Has anyone else had to use them? Yeah, they suck don't they? They look fun for a little bit. I remember when I was younger it was always cool for people to borrow their friends crutches and "play" with them for a little bit. Hmpf. If only I'd known.

I've been using them for less than 3 weeks, but I'd be fine if I never saw one again.

The palms of my hands are sore, red, and bruised. Not to mention my sore upper arms and abs. (I guess you use all they muscles you can to walk when you are down a leg). Oh and my sides where they hit below the armpit are rubbed raw.

It takes twice as long to walk anywhere and is exhausting.

When I wear my backpack at school with them my shirt rides up slowly so I have to stop every few steps and pull it down.

One of them makes a very obnoxious squeak with every step.

Not to mention I am completely helpless. Yes, the crutches help you walk somewhere, but I can't carry anything, open doors, etc.

I do not like crutches.
