Everybody I met in Paris was very friendly and spoke perfect English, after my failed attempts at French. I wouldn't have any hesitation in staying over if I was in your position if that helps at all.

i'd rather have a bike though. but my dad thinks it's more dangerous. wtf, right? it KINDA makes sense where i live though. ppl drive like fckin crazy here. and ppl have gotten hit riding their bikes. but whatever to that.. |

I'm not going to Paris. Already been there, wanted to go somewhere new. I'm going to Barcelona and spending a few days before the gig. Which is what I'd recommend you do in Paris really, otherwise you might feel a bit like it was a wasted trip.
