LOL, so yesterday I asked Mike what he thought about going on a lil mini-vacation to Chicago this coming summer. The first words out of his mouth were "Travis...right?" LOL! :P He knows me too well. |

Yeah we're pretty transparent. I don't know if hubby will come. Probably depends on whether the show is on a weekend or not and also just $$. And while I want to enjoy it with him I also feel like I won't get to be as big of a boardie geek if he is there.

Exactly. And I want to geek it out with you guys if I go! He just won't understand, lol. But I'd still like to go with him to Chicago. He's a fan too. Just not a crazy fan like me! I just hope that I can get vacation time with the new job and all. We'll see...it's still so early. I'm going to the Detroit show no matter what though. |

Nikki, we're riding the 'cycles to the Detroit concert, right?
I'm with Esteban on this one. I'm kind of looking forward to going by myself. And yes, it will be much easier to "geek it out" if my husband isn't there. I really, really hope Chicago is going to be on a weekend! It would be hard to justify getting my mother to spend 2 days with my rambunctious children while I'm off gallivanting the countryside to see a rock band with a bunch of people I met on the internet. Somehow that just sounds irresponsible when you say it out loud.

And I am originally from Detroit so it all works out. I have been on a motorcycle (as a passenger) only once but I loved it.

Branch seems more like we're connected vs. "chapter" which feels more like I am beneath you instead of equal. I would like to imagine that my she-devil skills are equal to yours. (meaning, I have none)
