Heard Miami Vice wasn't even really Miami Vice, no ice cream colored t shirts with white blazers. Just a mean looking Irish man and Jamie Foxx.
Uh, Starsky and Hutch, if you're going to do a remake of a 70's tv show, I think that's the way to do it. Make it a campy send up.
Bewitched: Never saw it, heard it was shite.
I really hope they don't remake Dallas. What a waste of time and money...

| haha...sorry to have missed that...not on board with that show either....and not ok with the fact that my loser coworker thinks he has good taste in music because he buys the soundtrack to the show!! (oh snap! am i a hipster?!! LOL) |

I weep for humanity. And about Miami Vice, the whole idea of making ANYTHING from the 80's all "Gritty, and intense" or whatever is laughable. (At least that's what the commercials made it seem like. I had no desire to see it ever.) |

It's as if they just slapped the name of the franchise on a movie that could have been an entirely different entity. They could have called it "Vice Squad" or "Drug Bust" or something (Yeah, I know, Lame titles ;) for all the similarity to the show. (She says as if she watched either the movie or Miami Vice. Whatev! I just wanted pastel suits with shoulder pads and white slacks)

DAKOTA: What you said was funny, because I listened to the Ebert & Roeper (but at the time Leno was guest hosting because Ebert was on the mend) review of Miami Vice, and he said he would have been ok with the movie if they called it Drug Bust: MIAMI. Did you listen to that review...??? |
