Wow...a tranny thread...I guess they can post about the difficulties of flattening their boobs so they look like a man or tucking in their "business" so they look like a girl...but I prefer the period talk because we can both complain about it. |

No, they don't have a uterus or fallopian tubes so they would not have a period. It is all very confusing to me because I can't relate to feeling "wrong" in your body or gender but once they have the surgery they are legally recognized as that new gender so I think they should be considered a woman and not a trans. |

While we're on the subject, I've always thought Whenever She Comes Around was about a transsexual or transvestite. I posted something similar to this on the old board but I figure it couldn't hurt to repost since the topic came up...
Basically the song is written from the perspective of two "people," - a guy, and the girl trapped inside of him. He sees himself as a beautiful looking woman, but the girl trapped inside sees something different - she sees a guy trying to pass as a girl but failing. Which is why he gets depressed whenever the girl inside starts to surface - "whenever she comes around."
Here are a few lines that kind of fit with my theory:
She's in his bathrobe
He's in her dressing gown
- An old bathrobe is this closest thing he's got to dressing feminine, and he makes the most of it, but she doesn't see it that way.
Like the big movies
Like the big coloured clown
He's looking dead good
She looks him up and frowns
- He thinks the make up he's put on looks glamorous, like a movie star. However, she sees it as some made-up hokey-looking clown.
