I love Closer... and Colder...
On August 2, 2007 is going to be my first concert of Travis... and I'm really excited... altough... the time is going very slowly...

| First song that I heard was "Closer" (video on Youtube). When I watched this video I laughed for a long time and I was happy for 3 days! Next songs that I heard were Selfish Jean, Big Chair and My Eyes. When I first heard these songs I didn't like that. But when I downolanded this song I loved they! I've loved they for today. |

| I LOVE THIS ALBUM!! Selfish Jean totally reminds me of an 80's rock song, I wanna go all "footloose-ish" when I hear it! "Closer"- its the most romantic song Ive ever heard and Battleships is so relateable! This is an album for the ages in my personal opinion! |

Hello. Well, I will try to be very precise and sincere in my appreciations.
All that knows me, know that Travis is one of my favorite bands, but I must say that this album is not my favorite. Although there are songs like "Big Chair", "Eyes Wide Open" and "Out In Space" that seems to me brilliant, but generally, I feel a little the absence the guitar of Andrew, perhaps because FOR MY CONCEPT, this album is a little most pop that the others.
I do not know, I feel like a little distance with the British Rock that for my has represented faithfully the band without classifying them absolutely, because they are a genre aside. Of course, the songs that I mentioned seem to me most of my taste because when listened for the first time, they gave back that sensation to be listening Travis immediately.
I want to be very clear, with this I don't want to despising the band or the album, Only that "The boy with no name" is not my favorite OK?
Travis is and will be one of my favorite bands and I do not believe that's going to never change.

I can't say whether it's the best album to date. Really i can't. But to me, it's the most "consistent" album by Travis. Every song is a stand out. It's a PERFECT album. Perfect.
The songs are haunting me every day in and day out
And a concert in India. Please!!!!!!!! Only one will do. Or what will become of us Indian fans?
