Why not a new record of a live performance?

While I was watching all these vids uploaded by so many fans, and especially the one from 2013 T in the Park festival, I wondered: why don't you produce a new record of a live performance of yours?

Your gigs are always so special, and we all would very much like to have a professionally recorded Blu-ray or DVD, with top quality audio and video. Besides, the most recent concert that you've released is from 2003. You've released three more albums since that, and God knows how exciting is to listen Selfish Jean, Closer, J. Smith, Moving and Mother alive.

Do you think it's viable? I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love it if you do it :)

Hi,

I'm pretty sure Fran said something about recording at the Barrowlands show on 18th Jan?! Fingers crossed!

Fran did mention they were recording at the Barrowlands last week but I'm guessing it was just audio cos I never saw any cameras and was right near the front. Would't complain either way :)
