12 memories is easily my favourite album. Like the way they were brave enough to do songs like 'Beautiful Occupation' when they could have played it safe. It is a dark album though, and quite sparse - I've always put that down to the fact that Neil was still recovering from his accident and so the drumming is quite low key. Re-offender sounds like it has a drum machine on some of it as well. How Many Hearts is a lost classic for me. Great album though

This interview made me thinking... Fran says they're used to record on tape.. Does that mean every Travis record was actually recorded on tape??

I don't think so. But definitely the last couple albums.

Thank you a lot for your answer :D ! I'm very surprised to learn this, I didn't think artists still did that ;)
How do you know that the 2 last records were recorded on tape (not that I doubt you haha I'm just interested in the matter)
