hard to decide. It might be a slightly unusual opinion but I love The Invisible Band and feel it flows beautifully at a slightly more consistent level than The Man Who; but the singles from TMW are stronger and so that edges it. I love The Boy With No Name, a classic Travis album, and those three have a bit of a gap to the other three which are great but for whatever reason don't captivate me as much.
I mean was always gonna put Ode last but actually thinking about it, Chinese Blues and particularly Before You Were Young are two songs that capture that magic beautifully, I just find the album itself more patchy.
Opinions are like arseholes and all that, but this has reminded me why I'm so looking forward to album 7.
