I know it's probably a little bit too early for this BUT as the board is being dead again... You can always change your mind next month.

So! Your top 5 albums of this year! Go!

Oh Dubz, how I love your optimistic approach to life ;)

Having said that, I can't think of 5 albums either. I definitely have top 4 though, all of which are wonderful, in my humble opinion at least.

1. Wounded Rhymes - Lykke Li.
2. Suck It and See - Arctic Monkeys (dudes are growing up and I like it).
3. Father, Son, Holy Ghost - Girls
4. Submarine OST - Alex Turner (this little EP is definitely my favourite, mixing many things I've loved this year: this beautiful movie directed by one of my fav people on the planet, which I watched in London with Kristy and of course the songs are absolutely amazing too!)

Haha, Wouldn't be the same if I wasn't a grumpy old bugger.

I quite liked hearing Warpaint and Jessie J on the Glastonbury coverage if that counts.

1. Hardcore Will Never Die But You Will - Mogwai
2. Solar - Rubik
3. Smother - Wild Beasts
4. The Future Is Medieval - Kaiser Chiefs
5. Codes And Keys - Death Cab for Cutie
+ Bonus, Sprained Cookies ep, Deliverin' the Sacred Feathered One

I haven't heard the new Coldplay, and for some reason have no wish to. I'm sure there are myriads of better albums out there that are not on my list, I'm just not aware of them. Have to check out that Arctic Monkeys' new one.

Addition November 19: French Films - Imaginary Future. I'm really enjoying it.

Same here about Coldplay! Dubz, you surprised me with Jessie J ;) I went to her gig last week, she's really good live!

Here's five that I liked a lot this year.

1. Departing - the Rural Alberta Advantage
2. Eureka - Mother Mother
3. Degeneration Street - the Dears
4. Summer of Lust - Library Voices
5. Dear Lions EP
and Datarock's California EP (I'll count them as one since they're EPs. :D)

I also liked the Strokes, the Antlers, and the Cold War Kids albums, and countless other single songs that I either haven't listened to the entire album, or wasn't especially interested the *whole* thing.

I haven't listened to the new Coldplay either. It's not on Spotify yet. XD

She was absolutely fantastic at Glastonbury, especially the bit where she got the wee lassie up to sing Price Tag with her.

How sad is it that I can't think of what's been released this year. Three albums I do remember that I've liked are:

1. Death Cab for Cutie- Codes & Keys
2. REM- Collapse into Now
3. We Were Promised Jetpacks- In the Pit of the Stomach
4. Coldplay- Mylo Xyloto (This one is still growing on me, but there are a couple of songs on here that I really like.)

3.-Beady Eye - Different Gear, Still Speeding
That´s it.

But I did find an EP I liked:

Paper Aeroplanes - A Comfortable Sleep.

It's on Spotify - check out Winter Never Comes.
