That is cold, luckily this year has been very mild in Ireland... so far.
I'm just back from the Hotel, what a fucking waste of my time. I get there the HR Manager sees me and asks "you know the details are you interested?" I reply "Yes". "That's good well I'll talk to the General Manager and see if we can come up with something", "Thanks for coming in". Seriously a phone call would have sufficed instead of me traipsing my arse halfway across fucking Dublin for 30 seconds of chat. Bollix !!

did I just read employment train somewhere?
guess I missed it - AGAIN.
sent out 20 (!) applications in January alone and got 2 responses so far - 2 "we're sorry, but..." e-mails... those weren't exactly dream-jobs, but still...
Anyway. I'm going back to "school", starting Monday, courtesy of the employment-centre (they're paying € 1.400 per month (!!) for that Online-Journalism course, because they basically can't do anything else to help me find a job - but I'm not complaining!). Finding a job is still my top priority, though. I can quit the course any time (and will have to - it's a 6-months course and I can afford my insurance for max. 2 more months)... |
