I don't like instrumental music much because I spend the whole song waiting for the singing to start and it doesn't.

Some lyrics should never be heard

Some people are writing songs that voices never share.

I thought so, too, until I found Mogwai. To begin with the lack of singing bothered me, but soon the music started to speak to me.

Today I realized that a natural disaster far away helps to ignore the awful weather we're having, and makes me appreciate the fact that I live in a boring, cold country, where nothing really serious and huge ever happens.

It's something how water can be so soothing, gentle, and life giving; yet it can also be the most destructive thing on earth.

I remember reading a surfing magazine (probably in a waiting room), and one of the things that struck me was that a 10foot wave (not uncommon) has the same force as a two storey house travelling at 30miles per hour, there was something else about when a wave crashes in on itself for a second or two it creates enough force that it can set like concrete and crush you.

Megg and Kristy have realized that the banks are fairly useless and will send you 9000 pieces of mail in a week. I will take a photo later.

The fact that you recognize this means you are getting wiser.
