I do. Yossi Sarid s harsh criticism over the attack on the flotilla is a must to read :

"Seven Idiots in the Cabinet"

The funny thing, is that those big guns the Israeli soldiers were carrying were mainly.....paintball guns.

But they did have real arms in case the situation got heated

Yes! I read that in an Aljazeera report today. It's absurd.

I don't know if it's true or not but I wouldn't say Aljazeera is the most reliable source in the world...

Maybe you could find BBC reliable:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/8654337.stm

"Among the large range of goods currently forbidden are jam, chocolate, wood for furniture, fruit juice, textiles, and plastic toys. "

To be fair, I don't think Megg was questioning the validility(?) of the banned goods, but rather the validality of Al Jazeera as an objective, unbiased news station.

I know, but her assert (which might be true) also questioned the validity of the news itself indirectly. That was why I posted the news with a credible source.

Well, the news is out in a lot of news sites from all over the world, so you can pick. There are different levels of objectivity, but I don't think there's a single source of news that can be considered objective. Everyone writes a story from a political stand, whether it's consciously done or not, openly or not.
Al Jazeera is one of the biggest news networks in the Arab world. It's got a bad reputation in the Western world because it doesn't share the prevailing American/European view on Middle East. I find it far more accurate and complete than many Western media when it comes to Middle East issues. In fact, they tend to try to have both sides on, so as to encourage the debate.
But yes, it's always better to check with a lot of different sources and not pick just one. Plus, it's very interesting to see how people with different interests write about a certain fact.
