Hey it worked with me. It first didn't and I contacted the admin, but he said no matter where I was from - (cos of the US/UK question) I just had to empty my cache (firefox) and then log on in again. :)

Voted, and I'm delighted that Travis were even shortlisted. Hope it gives them a much needed win and UK popularity boost.

Couple of comments: I am surprised that they were shortlisted at all, given their low UK profile compared with the other acts in the running. Happy but surprised.

Also, for those in this thread who think that other Travis albums should be named here: Big fat Wrong. This was the album that launched Travis, and was in its time acclaimed for being in nearly every cd collection in UK households (I forget the exact figures, but it was impressive). This is absolutely the right album of theirs for this accolade.

Good luck!

I was going to vote, but was uncomfortable with all the private information they wanted on a site that I would never use again. I'm uncomfortable with lying, too, in case someone was going to suggest that.

Hello Strangers - I've just voted for The Man Who. Fantastic. Fingers crossed they'll get a 4th Brit Award.

Woooh...
Now fran did say in an interview a few years back, that he thought 12 Memories was thier best record.
I think it is too.
This nomination for The Man Who, is bound to stir up fresh interest in that record and Travis again.
Brit nominations always recieve lots of new interest/ publicity and will give the record a new window for the next generation of music lovers.
Would be great if Travis had a UK tour going on in the next few months...

Agreed

Agreed

Agreed, but....really? (said with a heavy sigh of "heard it all before, and discussed pointlessly to death") Dream on, I say...

(although I'll concede to having no idea what on earth will motivate this band into playing to their home crowds, maybe this nomination will be it)
