This isn't exactly the right thread for this but oh well.

Have you ever wished you could take back a friend request? There is an old friend I lost touch with (we used to be quite close) and when I found him on FB I got really excited. I sent a request to about, oh, 4 months ago. It's still lingering there (I recently checked and it says "request sent").

I'm fairly certain he just hasn't gotten on because he barely has any friends but I am half paranoid he is just ignoring it. At this point I'd just as soon take the request back.

But you can! Account (right corner)-->Edit friends-->find his name-->remove (or wharever it says when he's actually not your friend. It works, I've done that once.

edit: OR go to his profile, "cancel friend request" option should be on the left side, under the pic, friends list etc.

Bless you! I've never noticed that before. Thanks. I just did it.

Talking about friend requests, I got an email a couple weeks ago saying my ex sent me a friend request. He defriended me a couple weeks after we broke up last february and i've only seen him once since then. By the time I signed in he was after taking back the request. Talk about awkward like! Haha.

I wonder if he was drunk or something. Or maybe stalking your page and accidentally hit it.

I thought he might have done it by mistake, but you can't add someone accidentally! Coz it's always like "are you sure you wanna send this friend request?" He was probably drunk.

Looking back at these is funny. Whatever happened to Kaan Isik? I wonder if I say something about him on fb he'll resurface.
