I am in Park City, Utah at the moment. It's a ski town but is still pretty in the summer. I was eating breakfast at the hotel and realized a French song was playing. I have no idea what song it was or anything but I would describe it as an "easy listening" type of song. Meaning, cheesy and unappealing to me.
Then another easy listening French song came on. Then another one!
I'd say 3-5 songs played and then they went back to the first one. It cycled through the same songs and then started again with the first song as I was leaving. I was there for 30 minutes!
Why French easy listening in Utah? Why over and over?? |

Another Sunny Day by Belle & Sebastian in a fashion shop in Rome. It was really weird, I never heard Belle & Sebastian while doing the shopping before! They usually play cheesy pop songs or electronic music (at least where I live).
And now this song always reminds me of Rome. |
