I think most fans are planning on buying or have already purchased it in some way, If Travis were better promoted then it wouldn't be so hard to get the b-sides in certain countries either.
It's just about us fans being very eager to hear the songs.
I actually think that Travis are proud of us for being interested.
I don't know how to buy songs online and I don't have Itunes either...
I agree with Alex, if I could buy it in my country, I definitely would. No question about it! But here it's not so common to buy songs online, and like Sweede boy, I don't know how to do it either.
I managed to get the european version of the STS single a few months ago though, thanks to a friend that lives in Germany and who was so kind to send it to me. But I spent so much money on it that I'm afraid it can't be more than a whim I can afford every once in a long while :o(
And probably most people who are asking here for the song have their own valid reasons for doing that... so I'm all for sharing!
The thing is, in greece (and many many other countries of course), people are now starting to learn what alternative and indie rock is....
On the stores, you can easily find Ode to J.Smith and the Boy With No Name, but its almost impossible to find older Travis albums... Singles are not even coming here... So, i will buy it online.
The other thing is that it isnt very common for a 14 years old boy to have a pay-palor i-tunes or so... And my parents are now learning what internet is....

i purchased the digital download from this website, then downloaded it, but when i played it, it was Song To Self instead of Ballad :( I swear the receipt said "Ballad Of J Smith"!
