I actually think that Travis are proud of us for being interested.
I don't know how to buy songs online and I don't have Itunes either... |

Interesting opinions, both of them. First I've thought: Yes, I want that download, too. But I wanted to wait for the vinyl single. Got it today, and while putting it on the turntable I was thinking: Wow, what a special way to hear this song! It crackled a bit, and first I had the wrong speed (funny voice, Fran!). But it's something very special. When I want to hear The Ballad Of J. Smith or Song To Self Extended Version now, I first have to take the record in my hands (it is thicker than the singles I know from my youth), and... I don't know, in this case I agree with accousticbug. When it is now available for free here, it loses what makes it so special. |

I agree with Alex, if I could buy it in my country, I definitely would. No question about it! But here it's not so common to buy songs online, and like Sweede boy, I don't know how to do it either.
I managed to get the european version of the STS single a few months ago though, thanks to a friend that lives in Germany and who was so kind to send it to me. But I spent so much money on it that I'm afraid it can't be more than a whim I can afford every once in a long while :o(
And probably most people who are asking here for the song have their own valid reasons for doing that... so I'm all for sharing! |
