I really liked this movie. It's about these people who work for a magazine and they want to write a story about this guy who posted an ad in the paper looking for a companion to time travel with. It's kind of different and quirky, but still good. Also, it was filmed here in Washington State, so it was cool to see places I've been before. I recommend it.

Woe, sorry for the huge picture.
We took the kids to see Frankenweenie at the $1 show. Reactions were mixed. Kids liked it, but they didn't talk about it the next day and they haven't asked to see it again. It was something to do, but isn't going to turn into a family favorite. My husband said it was better than he thought it was going to be. It was not as good as I had hoped it would be. Typical Tim Burton eerie quality (which I like). Lots of references to classic horror movies that went over my kids' heads.

I thought it was very sweet. Ewan is an adorable scientist nerd, and Kristin Scott Thomas was super witty. Lovely Sunday morning on the couch with coffee and a blankie kind of movie. (PS- Ewan McGregor always and forever).

"You Can't Take it With You" It is now on my list of all-time favorite movies. If you've only seen Lionel Barrymore as Mr. Potter in "It's a Wonderful Life" you have to see this movie. Your hate will turn to love and wish he was your very own grandpa.

I was really hesitant whether to even watch the movie as I'm very protective of the book and was worried it might ruin the story for me. Plus I had my doubts about the casting (*coughs*EmmaWatson*coughs*). I loved it though! Maybe it should be a rule that only authors can adapt theit own work for the screen.

The picture isn't showing up for me, but I am assuming you are talking about Perks of Being a Wallflower? I watched it today! Aww, twinsies. I quite liked it as well.

Yesterday I saw

Fun movie. Rom com with a bit of edge, and I like all the people in it. And I loved that I knew a lot of the places in San Franciso and had eaten at the sandwich place that Jason Seigel works at in Michigan (with Anne, Kayte and Nikki)
