SCENE 21
Hwy 1 , on the coast , The West Coast , the edge of the world , the ocean is below , crashing waves , slight fog and pulled over by a redwood grove is a limo near a hippy hot springs parking lot . Goosey limo . dak is in the drivers seat , fiddling with the radio . Roobarb is in the back seat . He's been tied up and beaten bad . he's suffering . Goosey is on her cell phone talking to her LA office .
Goosey - " Yes , I want you to keep her there , when i get back I'm gonna fix her too , take that grin off her face, roohbarb spilled that they sent up a safe house in Santa Cruz , ug filthy hippie vermin her I come . ( then to herself , after she hangs up ) The people i have workin for me buncha rejects from a Jr college basket weaving seminar . ( then screaming ) WHERE ARE THERE A FEW GOOD MEN ! "
She stops and giggles catching herself in a joke and walks over to the hot springs parking lot . She sees a tourist loading bags into her car and walks over to her .
Goosey - " excuse me , miss ?"
Ana ( a well know university professor from Buenos Aires ) - " My name is Anna , not miss "
Goosey - " Like I would know , this the way to Santa Cruz ?"
Ana ( sarcasticaly ) - You don't know ? Where are you from Orange County ?"
goosey- " no need for you to be a bitch , just fuckin tell me "
Ana - " nice words for someone asking a favor ! "
goosey - -" I 'll show you a favor " ( goosey pulls out a 9mm and shoots Ana in her right foot )
Ana -( screaming ) Hayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ! you shot off my big toe ! "
Goosey (shoots her other foot ) - " Now you got a matched set "
goosey then drags her over to the side of the road , the cliff . and grabs her car keys from her bag , she then pushes her off the side.
Goosey - " have a nice trip see ya in the fall ", ( she laughs but notices Dak still is goofing off , She squints . reaching into her handbag she pulls out a granade , pulls the pin and tosses it into the car with Dak and roobarb
Goosey - "Hey Dak think fast "
the car explodes crashing over the side into the ocean. hippies rush out of the spa and watch the car . goosey calmly walks over to Ana's Lamborgini and peels out of the parking lot , heading North , Hwy 1 . The edge of the world , the edge of civilization
Cuts to LA , Gooseys LA office . Lemon Grinner is sitting on a couch , they've givin her a gin & tonic , she's nervious . firebird just hangs up the phone. he'd been the one talking to Goosey . He looks at the picture on the wall , the one of goosey with the rose between her teeth , next to the group shot that dubZ & jude have except Jude and Julis face have been cut out .
Firebird - " why so nervous ? Goosey's a great person to work for ( pausing ) as long as you don't fuck up ."
Grinner sits quietly sipping her drink , it's her 7th
Firebird - "OK be that way , it's just......"
A noise is heard outside in the hallway , a scuffle , then a gun shot . Firebird moves toward the desk but it's too late , the door is kicked in and Sandy enters shooting him in the arm .
Firebird - " AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYE !"
Sandy ( very angry ) - " Where's Mary ?"
she walks over to him and kicks him while looking at a stunned grinner
Firebird _ " I don't know I swear "
Grinner - " Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhes a lost in San Francisco "
Sandy - " what where ?"
Grinnner - " SHEYY don't know , Shanta CruzH thats where they're a headin "
Sandy - " My sister among those filthy hippie vermin goin on about those stupid redwood trees ?"
Grinner - " shFraid ShHHHHHHHow "
Firebird - " Idiot now we're dead meat "
Sandy - " I'm no heartless thug , you both are a goin to the basement and after I call the fire department to release you , disappear , capice ! "
Grinner - " shhhhhhhhhhthanks "
Firebird looks down and then at gooseys picture , the fear is in his eyes .
Cuts to the hospital , room 422 , Alma tosses and turns under sedation
